Giovanni Caster is an actor, writer, and director based in Montreal and the EU/EEA. A graduate of Dawson College’s Professional Theatre Program in Westmount, Quebec in addition to having an LLCER English Bachelor's degree, he is currently an apprentice member of both ACTRA and UDA.
Represented by Top Talents Inc. in Canada, Giovanni works across film, theatre, voice, and multimedia productions. His credits span a wide range of projects, including stage performances in the Broadway play Leopoldstadt (which he acted in the Canadian premiere of), Henry V, and Lysistrata and on-screen roles in independent short films such as Glorious Curse, Home Run, and The Music Producer, among others.
In 2024, he made his video game debut in the game Chains of Freedom (released on 15 April 2025), voicing the character Sola.
Giovanni also completed his first-ever short film as writer, co-director, casting director, location scout and lead actor. Titled Kou Malkalkilé, the film was shot in French Guiana and is currently in post-production. The project marks his first step into international storytelling, blending comedy with social commentary.
Known for his naturally deep and resonant voice, Giovanni is often praised for his potential in narration, radio, and voice-over work. His fluency in multiple languages and dialects allows him to perform authentically in diverse roles and productions around the world. Driven by a passion for cross-cultural storytelling, Giovanni continues to build bridges between Canadian, European, and international creative industries through his multifaceted artistic work through which he hopes to be able to tell marginalized stories to the light.
